Bespoke Creations: From Idea to Realization

Let’s imagine your project together

- Research into forms and uses of the tableware: defining piece sizes and functions.
- Choice of stoneware bodies: white, sand, maize, deep wine, or black.
- Selection of glazes: light iridescent, crystalline, speckled mustard/emerald/turquoise blends, shimmering black moiré, mirror, or silver effects.

Prototype Fabrication

I shape several trial pieces to test the feasibility. Forms, clays, and glazes can crack, warp during drying, or react differently through the two firings.

Debrief & Analysis

- Adjustments and modifications as needed.
- Additional prototypes if required.

Final Production

- Execution of your chosen designs.

Low-impact production

- Stoneware sourced from France and Spain.
- Recycling practices: unfired cracked pieces are reworked; kiln-fired pieces with glaze defects are reglazed; broken pieces are repaired where possible using the Japanese Kintsugi method.
- Kiln firings are carefully optimized.
- Minimal glaze use reduces waste.
- Direct sales are prioritized whenever possible
