- Built sustainably using pisé (traditional rammed earth) with locally recovered soil.
- Recycled antique roof tiles.
- An exposed timber frame in raw wood.
- A concrete slab simply sanded, with cracks filled in the spirit of Kintsugi.
- A wood-burning stove to warm the space in winter
